Raunak Garments has been open at Ved Market, Holipura in Chirgaon, Jhansi since 2004. It is a family shop, in the same place it started, and a fair number of our customers are now the children of people who shopped with us in the early years.
We stock clothes for the whole household — kurtis and suits, tops and western wear for women, jeans, shirts and T-shirts for men, and everyday and festive clothing for children. We do not stock sarees, lehengas or wedding wear, and we would rather say so plainly here than have you travel in and find out.
We have never claimed to be the cheapest shop in Chirgaon. What we try to be is the one where the fabric is what it looks like, where somebody will actually help you find the right thing, and where you can come back next month and find us in the same place.
